We did it – the Inaugural BERC Golf Tournament!
That’s right – after many years of discussion, 6+ months of planning, and a stroke of good luck for the weather, we successfully launched our first golf tournament. We had 7 foursomes, and golfers from all around District 5030. We even had PDG Ann Liberato who drove over from Walla Walla to join in the fun!
While we always have a good time, this effort was a fundraiser for our long time partner, the Renewal Food Bank in Bellevue. Throughout President Aimee’s year, we have volunteered on a monthly basis, so what better organization for us to support but them! Through our golfers registration, mulligan sales, and a very generous match from on of our club members, we raised $5,000!
